This policy explains how Cited Kitchens, a sole proprietorship ("Cited Kitchens", "we") handles information on citedkitchens.com and in our subscription service.

What we collect from customers

When you subscribe or email us: your name, business name, business email, phone (if you give it), the category you subscribe to, and messages you send us. Payments are handled by Stripe; we do not receive or store your full card number. Stripe's privacy policy applies to the payment information it processes.

What our lists contain

Our lists contain information about food businesses that Wake County publishes as public inspection records, such as the establishment name, address, phone number listed in the County record, inspection date and cited items. We do not add personal information about individuals beyond what appears in those public records.

How we use information

To deliver your weekly list, bill your subscription, provide support, send service notices, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell customer information.

Who we share it with

Only service providers that help us run the Service (for example, Stripe for payments, our email provider, and our file-storage provider), under their own privacy terms, and authorities when required by law.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics. Our sales emails are plain text without tracking pixels. Stripe's checkout and billing pages may use cookies needed for payments and fraud prevention.

Email preferences

If you receive a sales email from us and do not want more, reply "stop" or email hello@citedkitchens.com. We honor requests promptly and within 10 business days.

Retention and security

We keep customer records while you subscribe and as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal purposes, then delete them. We use reasonable safeguards, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing us. Restaurants can ask us to correct any item that differs from the official County record.
